Taylor Swift, Beyonce and the Black Eyed Peas perform at Grammy Awards

Taylor Swift, Beyonce and the Black Eyed Peas will perform at the Grammy Awards in January on a night when they are all expected to go home with an armful of trophies. Country music band, Lady Antebellum and R&B singer Maxwell will also be among those performing live on the music industry’s biggest night on January 31, when the Grammy Awards are handed out in a live televised show, broadcaster CBS said on Tuesday.

Beyonce leads the field of Grammy contenders with 10 nominations, including the coveted album of the year, record of the year and song of the year for her hit “Single Ladies“.

Taylor Swift, whose “Fearless” album is the biggest seller in the United States in 2009 but who has never won a Grammy, follows with eight nominations.

Radiohead Return to the Studio in January

Radiohead will return to the studio in January to continue with the next album, which is done during the summer. “The Vibe Camp is a fantastic place right now,” guitarist Ed O’Brien wrote on the weekend at Radiohead.com. “I am very excited about what we do, but for obvious reasons, I can not reveal anything more.”

Radiohead album the most recent in 2007, “In Rainbows,” originally released as an album for download through its website, before going out on CD a few months later.
